The apartment is very well served by public transport and it is definitely the way to move around in the coastal area due to parking problems during the season.

There is a bus stop immediately outside the front door of Square Pauline for ligne 1. This will take you the main square in Antibes, Place du Géneral de Gaulle, and further on to Carrefour hyper market.

Along the road, a short walk away, are the bus stops for ligne 200 (and 250 express bus from/to the airport) which will take you to Nice one way and the other to Cannes.

The railway station is also very close and again will take you on a breathtaking journey along the coast to all the coastal resorts and into Italy as far as Ventimiglia (Ventimille in French) - which has a wonderful market of leather goods and designer clothes every Friday, see http://ventimiglia.town/shopping-2/.

The nearby towns such as Grasse, Valbonne, Vallauris etc. are accessible by bus, but if you want to travel into the beautiful mountains it would be advisable to hire a car.

CAR HIRE
The easiest place to hire a car is in Galfe Juan - Truche - https://www.truchelocation.com
