Juan-les-Pins lies "cheek by jowl" with Antibes and they are referred to as "Antibes Juan-les-Pins" (do not confuse this with Antibes-les-Pins which is further away from Antibes)

Local Activities
- Shopping
Juan-les-Pins offers everything in the way of chic boutiques and restaurants with all kind of cuisine.
Local supermarkets are within walking distance from the apartment and they are open on Sunday mornings. There is even a fish and chip shop! Banks and cash points are just down the street.
- Nightlife
Juan-les-Pins is renowned for its nightclubs and nightlife in general. Thankfully, however, the nightclubs and bars are not close enough to cause a nuisance.
- Coast/Beach
The best beach on the Riviera is the sandy crescent beach of Juan-les-Pins and is within 300 metres from the apartment!
Here there are sailing and wind-surfing schools, water skiing, parasailing, banana rides, glass-bottom boat trips and cruises along the coast. Beach restaurants and private sections abound where sunbeds can be hired with waiter service or there are sections that are free of charge.....there is something for everyone!
- Sport
Virtually every kind of sport is available:
Tennis, squash, scuba diving, sea fishing, horse-riding, golf etc. Motor boats are available for hire.
There is a dive shop on the front in Juan-les-Pins
- Golf
There are numerous golf courses all within a short drive, in Mandelieu (2), Mougins (2), Valbonne/Opio, Grasse (3) to name but a few.
- Skiing
It is feasible to take just a day trip to the ski resorts of Isola 2000, Auron or Valberg. These are less than an hour's drive depending on conditions and skiing is normally from Mid-December to late March or even early April.
- Special interest holidays
Through local contacts, cookery courses, painting, language lessons, sailing and diving courses etc. are all possible. Please ask at the Office de Tourisme for advice.
- Travel
Nice airport is approximately 20 minutes' drive from the apartment, but there is no need to have a car as buses are frequent as well as the local railway station which is only 5 minutes' walk away. Car hire would be recommended for inland sight-seeing, but it is not essential.
- Distances
Cannes with its famous Film Festival is only about 8 kilometres away which can bereached by bus.
Nice with its museums and colourful flower market, only 20 kilometres.
Monte Carlo/Monaco is a "must" and can be visited about 1.5 hours by train.
St Raphael has spacious beaches and fréjus has 2 Roman amphitheatres. 47 Minutes by train.
At the end of the railway line is Ventimiglia, in Italy, and there there is a street market selling designer clothes and leather goods.
Close by, inland, there are the perfumeries of Grasse to see, and if you have a car - the Gorge of Verdon, the vineyards of the Luberon, the mediaeval villages of Gourdon with its paragliders and amazing Eagle's Nest restaurant, St Paul de Vence with its art galleries, Monte Carlo with the Palace, Casino, Café de Paris and much, much more.
